Here's the schedule of games for the 2019 All Star Games, to be played on Saturday, August 3rd at the Southwell Softball Complex, 159 Wotton Street in Chelmsford
COACHES: -- Now is the time to refer to the yellow All Star paper that was in the coaches packet you received at the beginning of the year. Follow the directions and the process should move along smoothly. Effective communication is the key to making this work. If you are being asked to coach, please email me back to either accept or pass on the assignment. Please provide your name, team, division and the best way for people to reach you. Once a coaches name is posted, all others on that list should contact that coach and provide the names and positions of your players who will be attending the game.
MORE INFO FOR COACHES;-- Remember to bring your equipment bag. You may use assistants from your team or coaches from other teams in the group...whatever makes it work. Be sure to use a line-up that ensures equal playing time for all players. You will be using a continuous batting order and playing by standard league rules. The focus of the day is to have fun by playing softball... Enjoy!
PLAYERS:-- Will be given a T-Shirt to be worn during the game. They should wear the lower half of their regular uniform. Players should arrive at the field 45 minutes before game time. -- Check in at the table upon arrival and we'll point you in the right direction and answer any questions you may have. The popular "Fast Pitch Rules" T-Shirts will be available for purchase at a cost of $13. We will also have 40th anniversary coaches shirts available for only $9 and a bargin basement, going out of business sale of previous year's All Star shirts, on sale for only $3 each. Plus a supply of new and used softballs will be avalable for purchase. Chelmsford’s Softball program will operate a concession stand through- out the day! -- And be sure to pick up your 50/50 raffle tickets...
