Chartering and Insurance Enrollment for 2023

One Team. One Little League.

Dear League Official,

We hope you had a great 2022 season and thank you for making it a great experience for all the players in your community! While the season may feel like it just ended, and we hope your league is continuing to stay active this fall, it's already that time to start planning for the 2023 season.

As we look ahead to another exciting year, we are pleased to share that chartering and insurance enrollment for the 2023 season opened on Monday, October 3, and is now available through the Little League® Data Center for leagues to begin when they are ready.

ENROLL NOW

If you do not have a Data Center login, or forgot your password, you can set up your account or reset your password by using the reset password link with this email address.

To best prepare for the upcoming season, use the Little League Data Center and the resources at LittleLeague.org/ResourceGuide in order to complete the following preseason to-dos:

  • Confirm and update your league's board and officer information following your annual meeting
    • As a reminder, only League Presidents, Vice Presidents, Treasurers, and Secretaries can complete the chartering and insurance enrollment process
  • Review your league's boundary map prior to registration
  • Update and confirm your league information, including your league website and field location

Insurance:

Leagues who purchase insurance through the chartering process utilize the AIG Insurance Program for Little League. This program is administered by Keystone Risk Managers LLC ("Keystone") and is NOT an insurance program run through Little League International directly. To ensure there is no gap in coverage between policy years, those leagues enrolling in this program must have their insurance premium paid in full by December 31, 2022.

Background Checks:

As a reminder, your league's 125 free background check allotment reset on October 1 for the 2023 season. Be sure to remember to conduct background checks on all your volunteers each season and stay up-to-date with all the information on background checks and other ways to protect those members of your league by visiting LittleLeague.org/ChildProtection.

Team Numbers:

Remember that you can update your team numbers throughout your planning and preparation for the 2023 season, based on the outcome of your player recruitment, what divisions you end up offering, and how your season takes shape.

League Supplies and Rulebooks:

All leagues will receive their complimentary league supplies in early 2023. Please note that similar to 2022, those supplies will include three Little League Baseball® Rulebooks, three Little League Softball® Rulebooks, one Little League Challenger Division® Rulebook, one Little League Tee Ball Curriculum, and other assorted items. All volunteers and families are strongly encouraged to download the Little League Rulebook App, which will be the exclusive destination for the most up-to-date rule and regulation information, important policies, and instructional videos.
