Dear MLL Families,

Obviously everyone is aware of, and concerned about the potential spread of Covid-19 within our community.  I wanted to give everyone an update on how we are thinking about the virus and what may happen should the spread become more prevalent.  As of now, we are moving forward with the season as planned.  As conditions change we will adjust our policy accordingly.  We have not yet received any official guidance from Little League International but if and when that occurs we will adhere to it.  Other sources that we are following include the Center for Disease Control, Virginia Department of Health and the Fairfax County School system.  While it is our hope that any disruptions will be minimal, we understand our responsibilities as citizens of our community and will do what we need to do to minimize the spread of the virus.  We would ask that everyone takes appropriate precautions and treat this as a serious situation.  If your kids are sick then please don’t bring them to games or practices.  If you, or anyone else in your immediate family, is sick then please stay home until you’ve recovered.  We will also be adjusting our snack bar policies as well and will let everyone know what to expect as we get closer to opening day.  We will share relevant information with the community as soon as it becomes actionable.  Thank you for your understanding.
