2020 Spring Season:
Thank you for your interest in having your child play softball. We
are really looking forward to this Spring Season! All players, managers,
coaches and team parent volunteers need to register online. If you need assistance creating an account or registering lease email [email protected]
All adult team volunteers (managers, coaches, team
parents) will also need to download and print out a copy of the background
consent form, fill it out and turn it in with a copy of your driver’s license
on or before January 31st as we plan on selecting managers ASAP. You can also upload the forms and copies when registering to volunteer on the Blue Sombrero site.
Refund Policy. If cancellation is before
evaluations - full refund less $10 processing fee. 50% Refund after evaluations
but before uniform distribution and NO refunds after uniform
distribution. Exceptions only permitted with MMGS Board approval.
Snack Bar $35 Deposit Check MMGS is a non-profit
organization dedicated to providing a youth sports experience. Programs
and equipment are mostly paid for from the money made in our league Snack Bar
as well as through generous tax-deductible donations. We ask that all
families please fulfill the snack bar commitment so that MMGS may continue to
provide your player with future softball experiences. Please write
a $35 deposit check to MMGS that will be cashed if you elect not to fulfill
your snack bar commitment. Snack Bar deposit checks can be mailed to
MMGS, PO Box 261857, San Diego, CA 92196 or brought to evaluations. Players
will not be able to receive their uniform until their snack bar deposit check
– only $120.00 for 8U, 10U 12U & 14U for Spring!
Registration includes a jersey (1), and a basic photo
package. Registration fees help pay for uniforms, field permits and
lights, umpires and USA Softball fees.
Registration for T-Ball is FREE!Registration for Spirit is FREE! Registration closes 1/31/20. Registration requests after this date are subject to a 25.00$ late fee.Discounts: Early Bird discount of 50% until 10/31/19! Earlybird discount cannot be combined with any other discount. Military, siblings, and returning player discounts are 20$ after the early bird special. Player
Evaluations are TBD
A copy of your
child’s birth certificate must be submitted for age verification purposes
through USA Softball for all new players. Copies of the player's birth certificate can
be emailed to [email protected], or uploaded at registration. Copies of birth certificates are
sent directly to USA Softball and not kept in the league’s possession.
Spring Season games will begin Saturday, February 15, 2020 (WEATHER
PERMITTING) and will run approximately through Saturday, April 25, 2020 All divisions
will play primarily on Saturday with possible week day games for 8U-14U. Times of games are still TBD.
Home field – Our
home field is Hourglass Park and Fields. Utilizing fields 1-5.
