2021 All-Stars

MLL Community,

It's been an exciting season so far in all divisions, and we thank everyone for sticking with the compressed schedule due to all the rain cancellations from early in the season as best we can.

We are excited to announce our plans for the 2021 all-star season! As a reminder, with the all-star season canceled in 2020, this will be the first year we have had the chance to enter all-star teams in all divisions based solely on league age and not also divided in half randomly due to having a split league.

First piece of big news...Murfreesboro Little League will be hosting the 12U district tournament this year! This is the premier tournament that leads all the way to the Little League World Series in Williamsport in August, and we are excited to be hosting this prestigious event. 

Another new development this year...with the improved combined format of our league, we are now able to enter a team in the 11U district tournament, which has previously not been the case. This team will compete for a chance at a state championship and prepare to hit the ground running as our potential 12U team in 2022.

We will be fielding the following teams this summer for all-stars: 6U, two 8U teams, 9U, 10U (Minors), 11U (Majors), 12U, 14U, 16U. Practices for most all-star teams will run from the end of our season tournament until teams are eliminated. District tournaments for 12U and younger will be played and finished before Fourth of July weekend with state tournaments in July if those teams advance (all teams except 6U). 14U and 16U tournaments will be played at some point the first couple of weeks after Fourth of July.

Coaches and players for each team have not been finalized as evaluations and clinics are ongoing. Roster and coach announcements will be made by the end of the month for 12U and younger.

It is an exciting time to be part of Murfreesboro Little League!
