Game On!
After almost a year of sitting on the sidelines, we are excited to advise everyone that we have all been given a pathway to playing games again. Coast Soccer League is pleased to announce that based upon the case rates in each county and field availability within each city, we will begin scheduling games as early as the weekend of March 20th, 2021.
The decision to return to play is based upon many factors and for those teams who advise us that they are not able to participate now, will have their fees rolled over to the 2021-22 Fall season which will begin in September.
This is for the delayed 2020-21 Fall season (March-June 2021)
1. ACTIVE TEAMS: We would ask each Club to check their list of teams on their coastsoccer.us Administrators site under TEAMS on the left side menu to be sure only teams who will be participating are showing. Let [email protected] know if a team has dropped.
2. ROSTERS: Each team should update their roster by the Wednesday PRIOR to their first game played so that the complete roster of players will show on the match reports. Go to www.coastsoccer.us and put in the 4-digit CSL team number as the User ID and the Password from your application.
3. ACCEPTED APPLICATIONS: Some applications have fees still owing. Any team participating will need to send fees to CSL, 350 S. Glassell, Orange, 92866, to have their application accepted.
4. PLAYER CARDS: Cal South 2020/21 Fall cards will be used - which will also be used for Cal South State/National Cup.
5. TRANSFERS: CSL Players can transfer between CSL teams PRIOR to the first game played. New non-registered Players can be added during the season.
6. All games will be played under the 2020 age group and roster size. (2013-2011 teams play 7v7. 2010 & 2009 teams play 9v9)
7. FIELDS: It is essential that you let [email protected] know which fields you will be using. We understand fields might be an issue, but hopefully, as things open, more fields will begin to become available.
8. LOAN PLAYERS: Clubs/teams will be able to use the Player Loan Program.
9. SEASON START: Games will begin on March 20, with some Premier games beginning on March 13/14. No games on Easter Sunday.
10. RTP (Return to Play): Protocol is posted on the CSL front page of the CSL website.
