Recently we sent an email to all our clubs indicating that we believe we might well be able to schedule games this Spring.
With the possibility of playing games in the coming months, CSL has invited all our club Presidents and DOC’s to a Zoom call on February 24th
In addition to presenting our plan for this Spring, we will also be using this opportunity to introduce our Coast Soccer Juniors program, plus other new initiatives for Fall 2021, and future opportunities for CSL clubs.
Few of us expected the return to play to take so long; but it appears that as more and more schools reopen for in-person learning, there is light at the end of the tunnel and the likelihood of getting games played has improved.
CIF has now once again agreed that players may play soccer for both their high school and their club teams simultaneously. We are therefore prepared to still offer schedules for High School aged teams, while understanding that there may be some teams that wish to withdraw.
For those teams that feel they can no longer commit to playing games from late March on, please contact your club, as they will be asked to let us know which teams will need to be taken off the schedule.
Our next update for teams will be sent on Feb 26th.
Best wishes,
CSL Board of Directors.
