Victorville, CA – Desert Communities Soccer Club Boys 2007 team, based primarily in Victorville, claimed another championship this season by winning the Showtime Cup in Bullhead, AZ. This is the 3rd championship in one long season, after winning Coast Soccer League promotion by topping the group, and winning CA State Cup.
Coach Mario Zamudio and Coach Bennie Tafoya continue to develop this group of champions into a formidable team, which showed grit and determination during a very windy Final Game against a higher ranked Albion team.
Forwards Adrian Gonzalez-Andrade and Marion Kim scored a brace each, while Goalkeeper Jaedon Romero made a critical finger tip save on a 1 v 1 to keep DCSC in the game. “Knowing these boys from a young age and seeing them grow into young adults as a team makes our families and us very happy. Our goal is to continue to keep our financial costs to play low, but still compete against the best and continue having positive outcomes,” stated Coach Mario.
