Goalkeeping Academy 2022/2023

Our Goalkeeping Academy Philosophy: Washington Timbers Goalkeeping Academy’s Philosophy is designed to prepare all goalkeepers (from beginners to advanced and ages of 2014 to 2004 to be successful. We will teach every goalkeeper to push
themselves individually and how to be leaders in a team environment. With an experienced coaching staff, the training sessions will push each goalkeeper beyond their own expectations to help them prosper as goalkeepers. 

All Washington Timbers FC Academy and Junior Academy teams have access to our Goalkeeping Academy as part of club fees and will have regular access to goalkeeper training during team practices. Coaches sent their keeper names/emails to the Goalkeeper Director. Registration is not required for Academy and Junior Academy players that want to participate in the Goalkeeper Academy.

We offer a discounted price for those who are currently registered with our one of recreational programs (CWSA/VUSA). Our Goalkeeping Academy for players outside of our club for $350. Membership into the goalkeeping academy runs from June to April each year.

All Girls Camp with Vancouver Victory 2022

Vancouver Victory All Girls Camp

When: July 12-14, 2022
Time: 10:00am to 12:00pm
Who: Girls Ages 7-14
Location: Harmony Sports Complex
Cost: $60

Be trained by and train with Vancouver Victory Women’s team. All levels of ability are welcomed and encouraged to take part in a wonderful program designed to inspire and challenge our young, up and coming players. Attendees will have the opportunity to work with current Vancouver Victory Women’s team players and will be grouped with like ability or age, in order to set the level of the instruction.

Clark College Soccer Camp

Clark College Soccer Camp

When: August 2 - 4, 2022
Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Who: Boys and Girls Ages 5-12 
Location: Kim Christensen Field at Clark College
Cost: $75

This camp will provide a fun soccer experience for boys and girls ages 5 to 12 interested in developing their individual soccer skills. Emphasis is placed on developing players' technical abilities and improving tactical awareness. Each day will conclude with field scrimmages where coaches will work with campers to encourage quality play. All of this will be done in a fun and enthusiastic environment led by Clark College players and coaches.

 Overview of Skills Taught • Foot Skills • Passing • Dribbling • Shooting • Juggling • Trapping • Small sided games * In all sessions, instructional groups are organized on the basis of age and skill level.

Time: 10:00am to 1:00pm (30 minute lunch break, please pack a lunch with your child)

Cost: $80, camp shirt included
