NEW Covid-19 Guidelines from the State
Effective immediately, per the order signed and issued by Governor DeWine, MYO will be adjusting the current Covid-19 policies and will now include the following:
1. Upon dropping your son or daughter off at practice or a game, you will need to tell the coach that you have completed a health assessment for your son/daughter and are not displaying signs of CoVid-19. Your son or daughters coach will record your answer on a checklist as this will need to be done for every practice or game.
2. All coaches are required to view the following 3 videos prior to their next game or practice.
The videos will all take less than 4 minutes to watch. These would be good for parents to watch as well if you are not familiar:

3. ALL players and coaches when not in the field of play MUST wear a face covering. This is no longer recommended but mandated. Players are no required to wear a face covering when sitting on the bench and will take it down or off when they go onto the field. There can be NO exceptions to this rule per the new mandate.
4. ALL players will need to be distanced 6 feet apart. If playing at Cottell or Fleckenstein, players are to be using the bleachers and be located where the baseball stickers are located. Bat bags MUST also be spread out 6 feet. Parents/spectators are
NOT
to use the bleachers at Cottell or Fleckenstein on the fields where games are being played. These are for the players for distancing.
5. As a spectator, please look at what those new requirements are at the links below.. Families must distance themselves along the base lines and be at least 6' apart.
6. We will be placing hand sanitizer at all field boxes and coaches should set this out at the start of the game and then place it back in the box at the end of the game.
7. NO snacks after the game.
There are additional guidelines but these are some of the highlights.

We have done a good job thus far but these are in addition to what we had when we started the season. We know it is a lot to ask and as an organization, we are doing everything we can to make sure we can play ball. We need your help so we don't have to shut down the season. We will get through this and we appreciate all you are doing to help us enforce the rules and keep everyone safe.
Thank you!
