Good morning, FGSLL families!
Our older divisions have drafted teams last week and our younger divisions are being built as I write! All coaches have team gear and are itching to get their first practice of the season in!
While practices may begin on April 1, your coach may have a later date selected due to availability so please have patience as they get ready for the season. Please contact us if you have NOT heard from your coach by April 4.
EVERY player MUST provide their coach with a complete and signed Medical Release form. This form was emailed to you as an attachment with your player's registration confirmation AND can be found on our website under "Forms and Documents"--visit flagstaffgirlssoftball.com
FGSL offers an advertising opportunity for your business! We will post a banner on Continental Field 5 where our Majors and Juniors teams play and where we will host our District 11 year old and Juniors tournaments in late June. Banner costs range from the following:
4X4 Banner – Cost $175 for a new banner and renewal is $175 each year following.
4X6 Banner – Cost $250 for a new banner and renewal is $200 each year following.
4X8 Banner – Cost $500 for a new Banner and renewal is $250 each year following.
We are pursuing options for additional advertising at our other fields, Sinagua Middle and Garcia. Contact President Glenn Hansen at president@flagstaffgirlssoftball for more information!
Our Opening Day Ceremonies are planned for Saturday April 23 at Thorpe Park softball complex. Pictures will begin at 730 am, with ceremonies expected to begin about 10am. Some games will begin as early as 830 and will be scheduled through the day with the last game expected to begin no later than 5pm. We are hoping to have food trucks, lots of free gear and several raffles going on all to benefit FGSLL! Basket raffle information will be distributed and organized through your coach.
