Welcome to the West New York Little League 2021 T-Ball Program. We are so excited to have all our returning and new families join us in what looks to be a exciting season. Many of you have reached out to us with questions . We hope this will clear up any confusion and or questions you may have. Below are some general answers to the most asked questions. The kids first T-Ball practice is set to be April 11th. Times TBD. T-Ball will always be on Sunday's for 1 hour.
T-Ball Kids are invited to participate in our opening day ceremony which will be April 10th. There will be a parade from town hall to our field and there will be fun and free activities for them to partake in. Unfortunately the T-ball kids will not play or practice this day
Uniforms will be coming in the week of April 5th someone will reach out to you regarding the day and time slot your child's team has to come in and pick up their uniform . They will receive 1 Jersey, 1 pair of Baseball Pants, 1 Pair of Baseball Socks, 1 Hat and 1 Belt.
Although we have extra equipment we urge all parents to purchase their child their own pair of Cleats and a Glove. Due to COVID we strongly do not recommend sharing of equipment and have a lengthy sanitation progress for league equipment to be loaned out.
The children have been broken down into team by age Kids Place is our Official T-ball sponsor. All 4 year olds have been placed on Kids Place 4, all 5 year olds have been placed on Kids Place 5 and all 6 year olds have been placed on Kids Place 6. These Teams have been publish and is available to view on our website under Teams.
Coaches use the free phone app called "Whats App" to communicate practice information and other general announcements if you do not have this app please download it before the child's first practice .
While in our Facility Masks and Social Distancing are MANDATORY by all spectators, coaches , and staff. The children are not required to wear masks when doing physical activity but when waiting to start practice or sitting in the dug out they must wear a face mask that is either cloth or disposable. We will have extra disposable ones for any one who needs along with hand sanitizer stations and each coach will have hand sanitizer in their team bag.
We cannot wait to start the 2021 season and look forward to having your children in our facility. LET'S PLAY BALL!!!
