2020 Season - Resumption Plan UPDATED

It's Baseball Time in Texas!
I am happy to inform you that both Governor Abbot and Judge Roach have CLEARED us to play baseball! There will be health precautions we will observe, as we are all use to by now, but we WILL have a short season this year!

Tentative Calendar:
Team Drafts this week...
Practices may begin after Memorial Day May 26...
Games played June 8 - July 2 (trying to only play on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays - weather permitting, of course, with Fridays and Wednesdays if we need to make-up games).

IMPORTANT:
If you registered in the spring that DOES NOT automatically put you in this revised league. YOU WILL NEED TO SIGN THE WAIVER HERE: https://form.jotform.com/201384710530142 TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY. The Breckenridge Little League Board of Directors have met and put in place a scenario for playing baseball this year IF:
The State of Texas and Healthcare Officials announce on or by May 18 that 25 or more people, or enough for 2 teams with coaches, are allowed to participate in outdoor sporting events - AND if we have enough participants agree to play.
The proposed schedule would be: Player Drafts on May 18-19, Practicing May 20-27, Games May 28-July 3.

Here are the options for those who have already registered and paid:
Option 1: You decide NOT to play Little League under these circumstances. You will have the opportunity to receive a full refund, or you can credit your fee towards the 2021 Season, or you can simply donate your fee to the league. IF YOU CHOOSE OPTION 1, YOU MUST VISIT THE ARMORY BATTING FACILITY (LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF HWY 183 NORTH AND LITTLE LEAGUE ROAD) TO SIGN THE FORM INDICATING YOUR DECISION AND TO RECEIVE THE FULL REFUND. The Armory will be open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3pm-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm (May 13-16). DEADLINE IS MAY 16 AT 2PM. Contact Van Moore 254-246-0835

To help you make your decision: Know that League officials, coaches, players, and fans will continue to observe distancing, and will need to self-check their health before participation. The League will have special rules to follow during all aspects of the game. Please understand the risk of deciding to play, especially with younger children that may not comprehend the health guidelines. Please take into consideration possible conflicts with planned vacations, camps, custody changes, etc. to ensure the player is available for as much practicing and games as possible.
