Put Safety First!

Hey Parents:
Although we feel we provide a safe learning environment for our athletes, accidents can happen. Here are 2 important ways we can keep our Gators safe:

1) A proper helmet fit! Please see the "Helmet Fitting Guide"

3) "Ride Within Your Ability"! Of course we want our team members to be challenged, but challenged doesn't mean scared! If a team member is a little nervous but confident they have the ability, they may choose to ride a new feature or bump up a skill group. Team members should NEVER be scared at any point. We as coaches and parents want to make sure that error on the side of caution rather than push our riders out of their comfort zone! We allow parents and team members to choose the skill group in which they feel most comfortable with (BALANCE BIKE, ROLLERS, GRINDERS, or SHREDDERS. The RIPPERS are a small, advanced skill group that can be joined only by a coaches invite). Skill groups are "fluid" meaning that team members can attend any session they feel comfortable with at any point in the season. Many Gators attend several skill group practices in a single week! Talk with your child to see what skill group is right for them!

Together and prepared, we can make sure our Gators are in an environment that puts safety first!
