WORLD SERIES BID IS NOW OPEN

Bids for the 2026 Dixie Softball World Series' are now open.

If a league is interested in hosting a World Series in 2026 they need to send in an intent to bid no later that May 1, 2024.  The intent to bid can be sent postmarked no later that May 1, 2024 to Dixie Softball, 1101 Skelton Drive, Birmingham, AL 35224 or email no later than May 1, 2024 at [email protected].

Dixie Softball World Series are structed so that the smallest and largest leagues in Dixie Softball can bid on hosting a World Series.  A league can bid on just one World Series or they can bid on 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 World Series'.    

There is no monetary amount due in a bid.  The facility, accommodations, and the support of the community requesting a World Series is how a Dixie Softball World Series is awarded.  

The World Series requirements are posted on our website or Dixie Softball can send you a copy via email.

Presentation of the bids will be held at the Dixie Softball board of directors meeting held in 2024.  The decision to where the meeting will be will be announced at a later date.
