In net at Greensboro College, Nyepon made the NSCAA All-Region second team twice. As a senior, he helped the Pride to a conference title and berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament. He recorded nine shutouts over his two seasons in uniform. He also played professionally for the California Dynamo of the Premier Development League.
Nyepon, a native of West Africa, graduated from Greensboro's Page High School before starting his college career at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, N.C.
