Alex Sandoval
About Alex: Coach Sandoval played high school soccer locally at Wilson High School in Washington DC and helped the school earn their first regional championship. Sandoval was then drafted early to a semi-professional team, the DC All-Stars. After several successful years, he moved to the fast-paced game of indoor soccer, joining, training and traveling with the semiprofessional indoor Maryland Tigers for a couple of years. Before moving to the Washington Warthogs professional indoor soccer team where a bad knee injury ended his professional career. Coach Sandoval then decided to give back to the sport of soccer by coaching local youth teams, developing local players, and motivating kids to reach their goals. He was the Howard University assistant and goalkeeper coach and has continued coaching players as high as the United States Men's National Team. Alex currently holds a USSF 'A' Youth Course License and NSCAA Premier Diploma and is currently the Head Coach of the Washington Adventist University Men's Soccer Program.
