PRECAUTIONARY RULES

  1. A mask or face shield must be worn at all times by all participants, coaches, and spectators (masks are not needed during active play but may be worn at the players discression).
  2. Any athletes, coaches, staff, or spectators showing any of the following symptoms must stay home.
    • Fever of chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
  1. Players should bring their own equipment. Player will also be given flags to bring home, sanitize, and return for the next game/practice.
  2. Hand sanitizing stations will be provided, players should sanitize prior and after practices and games.
  3. Players and staff are responsible for bringing and labeling their own drinks. No shared cooler drinks will be available.
  4. All athletes, coaches, and spectators must maintain a 6 foot distance whenever possible with clearly marked areas on sidelines, bleachers, and near/in the building (unless they live in the same household)
  5. Anyone entering the field house will have their temperature taken and symptoms assessed.
  6. Physical closeness will be limited by limiting time players spend on the field along with close contact only during in game times.
  7. Modified practices with a focus on individual skill building will be held to limit closeness.
  8. Shared equipment will be limited.
  9. Levels of risk will be assessed during the registration process for children who may be at a higher risk, such as asthma, diabetes, and other high risk health problems.
  10. Smaller team sizes will be maintained to reduce risk.
  11. Nonessential visitors, spectators, and volunteers will not be allowed in the area during the games. Areas will be roped off and clearly marked to maintain social distance.
  12. Anyone traveling or having traveled out of the area in the last two weeks will not be allowed to participate in that weeks practice or games.
  13. No spitting allowed, cover coughs and sneezes with tissue or inside of elbow. Hand washing immediately after for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. If unavailable hand sanitizer will be available on sidelines.
  14. Anyone who has been in close contact with someone showing symptoms or known to have Covid-19 should stay home and monitor health.
  15. Signs and messages will be clearly posted at entrances and exits, fences, where seating is available, and bathrooms to promote everyday protective measures and describe how to help lower or stop the spread of germs. Announcements will be made on social media pages and through emails with up to date information. 
  16. Cleaning and disinfecting will be done between every game and change of teams.
  17. Limited volunteers and staff members will be utilized to reduce sideline congestion. 
  18. Each player is responsible to keep their equipment and personal belongings separate from other players and staff members. (i.g. in bags, separate areas, with parents/guardians).
  19. If food will be offered during events only pre-packaged, unopened items will be available. Shared condiments, utensils, or foods will not be permitted. Hand sanitizer will be available at the stand and workers will be masked and gloved the entire time.
  20. One staff member will be in charge of handing and maintaining all social distancing and cleaning precautions. 
  21. No unnecessary physical contact such as high fives, fist bumps, hugs, handshakes, etc. 
  22. Players and guardians will wait in car until coaches tell them to come out onto the field to maintain social distancing and restricted times between games/practices.
  23. Players are asked to limit or exclude car pooling.
  24. Increased or staggered times between games and practices will be given to allow one group to leave before a new group comes in.
  25. Physical guides (signs, tape markers) will be clearly marked and available for all games and practices.
  26. Shared indoor spaces will be closed to the public and used for limited, necessary staff members only.
