Field / Referee Assigning

Blount United’s referee assignor for the club this season is Bill Mize.  He assigns most of the Knoxville area and has a lot of referees to choose.  He will not bekeeping up with the BUSC Google calendar showing field schedules, we will do that internally.  

The primary person scheduling fields will be Tom Beem. 

The mode of operation for assigning a field and referees will be the following:

  1.      Check the BUSC Google calendar to see what fields are available.

  2.      Email [email protected] to schedule a field.  Include the following information:

          o   Date

          o   Time

          o   Field Requested

          o   Team Age..ie U12

          o   Gender

          o   Team Names – TBD is fine if you know you have a match but not sure of an opponent.

  3.  If you need the field in under a week or have a field scheduling problem please Text Tom Beem at (865) 591-7687.  Do not call he will not answer but will read all texts.

  4.      Once conformation is received that your field is scheduled. You will communicate with Bill Mize for referee assignment.

  5.      The best forms of communication for Bill Mize from best to worst are: email, text and phone call.   Bill does not have any kind of hard deadline for requests, however, you must understand the sooner the better and the more likely he will be able to fill slots.  Please do not abuse our assignor with last minute requests and changes that are not necessary.
