It's that time of year again... Soccerfest is back!
Huge thanks to OrthoCincy for sponsoring the event this year.
Event Parking Information
Thanks to support from OrthoCincy, a premier Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine practice in our own backyard (Cornell Road), we are able to hold an expanded Soccerfest at Weller Park this Fall!
We will have free games and activities for all ages (including you parents) at Weller Park. We'll also have Soccer Dart thanks to ESD Pediatric Group. If you don't know what Soccer Dart is...you will when you arrive to Weller Park!
The mascots are coming out in force this year! We have more than 12 mascots committed to be there to sign autographs for your kids on cards held by the new CincyOrtho GSSA lanyards that will be passed out to everyone. More hi-jinx to come from them!
Plus, players from FC Cincinnati will be there signing autographs and providing a photo opportunity.
We will have pizza available from Rudinos, free Dunkin' Donuts and coffee in the morning (while it lasts) thanks to D'Andrea Ebel & Co., and snow cones available from Snowie – great local sponsors of GSSA. More food to be announced soon!
GSSA OrthoCincy Soccerfest will also be giving back to the community we love. We have partnered with Stepping Stones and Cleats for Kids. Stepping Stones will receive a donation in the form of soccer balls and soccer equipment to help them foster excitement with their soccer community. Cleats for Kids will be on site at Weller where they will collect new and used sporting equipment and athletic shoes to help those in need in our own city!
All of this is being provided through the generosity of OrthoCincy, ESD Pediatric Group, D'Andrea Ebel & Co., and Newmark Knight Frank. For years the leaders of these organizations had their own children play, referee, and they have coached and benefited from GSSA… and they want to give back to the GSSA community.
So be prepared to have fun, bring your camera and warm up those legs to participate in the prize-winning games (oh yeah, and we’ll have soccer games that day too)!
