Mark Lowdon appointed Director of Coaching for Watchung Hills Soccer Association Travel and Recreation Programs

Watchung Hills Soccer Association (WHSA) is proud to announce the appointment of Mark Lowdon as the new Director of Coaching for our Travel and Recreation Programs. Mark brings over 15 years of coaching experience in the U.S. and the U.K. to the program and is also an Associate Director of United Soccer Academy.  Mark has extensive experience building development plans and training programs designed to maximize young players’ potential.  Mark will work with the WHSA Board to administer and manage both of these programs to ensure that the club’s philosophy and goals are consistently maintained.

With the addition of Mark, the WHSA Board continues to implement its strategy to offer professionally managed programs for all of our players regardless of ability level. According to WHSA President Frank Sena, “Hiring Jordi Meijer as the Director of Coaching for our NJ Elite Program was the first step in our strategy.  He has done a fantastic job with our premier program and we are proud of the program’s many accomplishments since he was hired.  Adding Mark is the next logical step and we now have professional coaches managing all of our programs.  We expect to continue to add exceptional talent in the coming year as we continue to execute on our strategy.”

The Watchung Hills Soccer Association offers NJ Elite and Travel teams from U8 to High School as well as a Recreation Program with 700 players ranging in age from three to fifteen years old.
