In partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods and Primo Designs, we are pleased to announce this new individual practice challenge for ISC players of all ages. The objective of the 100,000 Club is to motivate the kids to work on and develop their soccer skills on their own.
As parents we understand that improving in any endeavor requires consistent effort and commitment. As coaches and trainers, we believe that players with a strong technical foundation and skillset can make plays, develop their creativity, and have more fun on the field.
How it works:
Players will work on soccer skills on their own and record their efforts on challenge sheets. They will turn in these sheets to their coach or trainer in an attempt to get 100,000 touches on the ball by the end of the year. Our incentives include Dick’s Sporting Goods Certificates and the Official ISC 100,000 Club t-shirt. Individual team coaches may include additional awards/incentives.
Challenge activities are organized into three basic categories:
1) Skill Moves (supported by a library of how-to videos)
2) Juggling (supported by club juggling cards)
3) Partner or Wall Striking (great for siblings and/or parent interaction)
Players can work on any of the three categories and fill out Challenge sheets to turn in to their coaches/trainers. Parents must sign off on Challenge sheets and are encouraged to monitor and participate as the kids progress. Coaches and trainers may periodically assess progress by asking the players to demonstrate their skills. Within this framework we have three levels of difficulty (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), based on age and skill level.
Accept the challenge and take your game to the next level!!!
