The Rapids Ambassadors program is a RELAUNCHED program designed for our older players(13+) to engage in meaningful operations and leadership activities within the club. The Ambassadors will primarily focus on service projects, events and promotions, peer leadership, wellness and coaching education. Oversight will be provided by the administrative and technical staff at the club. Volunteer hours will be documented for players who participate.

The ideal Rapids Ambassador is interested in one or more of the following areas:

Health & Wellness
Peer Leadership
Service Projects
Events, Promotions and Operations
Coaching

Upcoming Opportunities

IN-OFFICE HOURS | For some of you, volunteer hours are your most important priority. Assist with day to day operations within the club, examples: support administrative operations in tasks associated with inventory, organization, and registration. Office hours are 9am-5pm during the season, Monday-Friday. Other opportunities may be available outside of those hours. Email [email protected] & please include the dates you are available.

GAME DAY OPERATIONS | Looking for game day volunteers to assist with set up, pregame, half time and promotions/prize giveaways at the WPSL home games. FUN! If you enjoy sports management or are interested in working with sports teams in the future, this is definitely the BEST option for you to get volunteer hours and build your resume! Email [email protected] & please include the dates you are available.

COACHING/SUMMER CAMPS | For all those interested in volunteer coaching or just getting on the field to help this summer, email [email protected] OR for recreation league coaching, email [email protected]. Camp listing can be found here to check your availability.

Players who register to be on the distribution list will be sent opportunities to volunteer throughout the year and will have first access to sign up! As we know our players have many responsibilities, we do not mandate participation, but it is our hope that players register for 2 events or projects per season.
