The SSA Recreational Program is for players new to the game and for parents of experienced players looking for a fun, purposeful, and low-cost program in the fall and/or spring. The club has a no try-out/no cut policy and players of all ability levels are encouraged to participate. Registration for the Spring season starts in mid-November and ends late January. Registration for the Fall season starts mid-May and ends late July. |

Ages 9U - 12U

The SSA Academy Program is for players looking for a high-quality training and playing environment under the supervision of experienced and qualified staff where an enthusiasm for, and a commitment to, the game is nurtured and rewarded. Players typically go through a 'tryout' assessment in late May for the entire year or in Dec or Jan for just the Spring season, though players may join at other times of the year if space is available. The program is generally regarded as the starting point for players interested in moving into our Select/Regional/DA teams and playing HS and College soccer in the future.

The SSA Select Program represents the highest level of competitive club soccer within the state of GA. The program is coached by experienced and qualified coaches and players are assigned to teams through a series of tryouts in late May/early June to play in the boys' Classic statewide league and the girls' Athena statewide league, though players may join at other times if space is available on a roster.

Click HERE for age groups by birth month/year | The National Premier League Program offers our Elite-level players the opportunity to compete in a league comprising of some of the most competitive clubs in the Southeast. The League runs parallel to the SCCL program, with the two leagues complementing each other in terms of playing opportunities and level of competitiveness. Players are selected through the same tryout process as the Classic/Athena Select program and the SCCL program. | More....

The SSA Player Development Academy is a unique soccer development program for Under 6 and Under 8 soccer players, which aims to accelerate the technical and tactical development of players preparing to participate in the U9 academy program. Players are selected through an assessment process in January for the Spring season and July for the Fall season. |

The Super Y program is a summer league that offers weekly games and practices. The league also offers an ODP-identification route for players. The league is administered under our Atlanta Metros program and players are assigned to teams based on a tryout in late January/early February. |

Ages 13U - 14U

SSA is one of a select number of clubs across the US to be awarded 'Developmental Academy' status for its Boys Programs. The program, separate to our State or Regional league team programs, forms the first steps in US Soccer's elite-player development pathway as a means to identify and prepare players for participation in the MLS professional league and US Men's National Team programs. Players play a 10-month schedule of games against other DA clubs in the Southeast under the guidance of US Soccer itself rather than state or regional soccer entities. Players are selected through a series of ID Clinics and tryouts in May of each year.

SSA hosts a 7-week 7v7 adult league, with games played on Sunday evenings on the artificial turf field at Hiram High School. |
