What is the BCSA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM?

This is a program run for the purpose of developing soccer players.  Players registering for the program will receive weekly training sessions and games.  Training will focus on age specific skills and concepts tailored to each individual’s current skill level.  Groups will be kept small so that players will get individual attention.

What’s the difference between the “Development Program” and “Development League”?

The development program is for individual players.  We then form BCSA teams that will train once a week with our professional training staff and play games in the “Development League” on the weekends.  Membership in the Development Program includes:  membership in the league, weekly training and uniforms.

The Development League is intended for existing teams to register for in order to just play games as an existing team.

Can anyone register? / Do I need to live in Burlington County?

Players from any town, county or state can register for our program.

Is there a tryout involved?

No, there is no tryout for this program.  We will form teams based on age and ability.

Where are the games played, and when?

All games will be played at Field of Dreams (377 Creek Road, Delanco, NJ).  Games will be Sunday evenings to avoid conflicts with other leagues and sports.

My travel team already plays in another league, can I still join this program?

Yes, this will be a great supplement to your existing team’s activities, and we’ve set our game schedule so not to conflict with the most common schedule of the local leagues in our area.

What is the game format?

U4/U5 – 3v3 no GK’s
U6-U8 – 4v4 no GK’s
U9-U12 – 5v5 with GK’s
