The Carolina Rapids are pleased to announce Kalla Stark as the Senior Girls Coaching Director for the 2017-18 season.  Kalla was a recent coaching addition to the club this fall, and has many years of experience as a Director in both North Carolina and around the world.

"Kalla is a wonderful addition to the club.  I've known him for many years, and he has always made a positive influence where ever he's been.  He will be able to help elevate the overall experience our senior girls have at the club," said Ray Fumo, Girls Director.  Kalla's role as the Senior Girls Coaching Director will have him focus on our U15-U18/19 USYS teams.

Kalla, who currently holds his UEFA A License, was a Director of Coaching and Director of Operations at Triangle United for over 5 years.  He also served as an assistant coach at UNC Chapel Hill for 2 years.  Kalla, originally from Germany, has served various roles in sport around the world, with coaching roles in not only Germany but Japan and South Africa as well.

"When I joined the club last fall I received the warmest welcome from the Carolina Rapids family one could imagine," said Kalla. "I can't be thankful enough for this and the opportunity to work with the wonderful staff at Rapids and their players. I am very excited to be able to help our Senior Girls Program grow even stronger and I am very much looking forward to the exciting times to come!"

Kalla will be running the Senior Girls open sessions this weekend, Feb 11 3:00-4:30 at Richard Barry Park and Feb 12 3:00-4:30 at Bailey Rd Park.  Please come out and meet Kalla and many of our other staff coaches for next year!
