SSA Dekalb Lands SCCL-P Slot

In the inaugural year of the newly formed SCCL-P division, SSA Dekalb's 04 boys have been selected as the team to play in this league under the Southern Soccer Academy umbrella.

From the start of the branch in Spring 2017, the goal was was to create Elite teams to represent SSA Dekalb and to provide a platform for a higher level of play in the area. The 04 boys was one of three total boys teams formed for the Fall 2017 season, they played in the Georgia Soccer Classic 4 division. They have been rapidly moving up the ladder and this past Spring the boys played in a friendly league which allowed them to showcase their talents against current ECNL, NPL and SCCL teams. "From the beginning, we have come such a long way and I can't thank the parents off the field and players on the field enough for their hard work, skill, determination, and teamwork that has gotten us to this point," says Boys Director Tony Anglin "They have stood by the club and believed in the development process, regardless of what division we were in at the time, and here we are getting our first opportunity to really showcase the talent of these fantastic young men."
