AC Cugini is pleased to announce its first After School Program in Maryland at the Friends Meeting School in Ijamsville, MD. The After School program - free for students enrolled at the Friends Meeting School and open to the public at a nominal fee - is an extension of AC Cugini's "Sports Culture" project - in collaboration with the teaching staff from the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI Servizi) and the Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC). The Sports Culture project, which aims to promote Italian player development, language, and culture, also provides unique international cross-cultural opportunities, training and playing with the best clubs in Italy, and exposure to a new language. Providing a friendly environment for all, AC Cugini's focus is on developing young players to reach their highest potential and goals, whether at the professional or college level (in the United States or in Italy), or just for fun.
Sessions
- Mondays: 3:30pm-5:00pm: Coed, ages 5-9 (indoor gym)
Instructor
The head instructor is AC Cugini's Founder and President Fabio Diletti, who is also Technical Director of AC Cugini's Roma Academy Maryland. A native Italian, Fabio is a professional trainer and talent scout who played goalkeeper for Italian professional club Ascoli Calcio - founded in 1898. Fabio possesses a UEFA license and receives training twice a year in Italy through Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI Servizi) and Italian Soccer Federation coach training programs. Fabio has been coaching and training American players in the United States and Italy for over 20 years. Coach Dilettii is also the former Head Coach of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) team, ACF Torino USA as well as former Head Coach of Langley High School (VA) Girls JV Soccer team and South Lakes High School (VA) Girls JV Soccer team and Goalkeeper Coach for both schools' Varsity and JV Girls teams

Required Equipment
- Indoor sessions: Sneakers or indoor soccer shoes and shinguards
- Outdoor sessions: Soccer cleats and shinguards
Registration Process - ALL children must register in ADVANCE and submit signed parental release in order to participate. Walk ons not permitted!
- Parents of children who do not attend the Friends Meeting School must mail their child's registration and $100 payment by check (made payable to AC Cugini) to: AC Cugini, P.O. Box 165, Great Falls, VA 22066 or register online to pay by credit card on this site (Note: $5 is added for credit card payments.)
