SAY COACHING CLINIC

Introduction to SAY Coaching Course
The Introduction to SAY Coaching Course has been developed for the new parent coach. This two hour course will cover important coaching topics such as:

  • SAY Soccer coaching standards and expectations
  • characteristics of ages groups 
  • coaching ethics
  • rules of the game
  • creating age appropriate training sessions
  • developing your coaching philosophy
  • administration organization
  • on-field coaching instruction
  • using online soccer resources

SAY Soccer, in partnership with UKI Soccer, will provide top-notch coaching educators to run this course for participating SAY programs. This course will be engaging, educational and fun for all new coaches to be part of. We encourage all new coaches to take part of this coaching education experience.


SAY Intermediate Coaching Course
The SAY Intermediate Coaching Course is recommended for those parent coaches who are looking to become more proficient soccer coaches. This coaching course will focus on the following:

  • SAY Soccer coaching standards and expectations
  • characteristics of ages groups
  • creating age appropriate training sessions
  • developing your coaching philosophy
  • on-field coaching instruction
  • using online soccer resources
  • Incorporating footwork into trainings
  • Technical development
  • Tactical development

SAY Soccer, in partnership with UKI Soccer, will provide top-notch coaching educators to run this course for participating SAY programs. This course will be held in both a classroom setting and on the soccer field. We encourage parent coaches that have coached for more than a year to participate in this coaching education opportunity

U.S. Soccer Federation

Coaching curriculum designed to improve development of players in the organized player base in the United States, concentrating on creating more organized, age-appropriate training sessions, developing coaching practices and creating an environment that is fun for the players.
