ABOUT:
The Counselor In Training (CIT) is a hands-on leadership program designed for 8th-10th grade students looking to gain professional experiences through working with young children and adults. The CITs are under the mentorship of a director and lead counselor as they progress through the program. CITs will be able to experience, first-hand, the roles and responsibilities of acting as a counselor for campers. Additionally, they will participate in weekly seminars that will serve as a foundation for working in a camp and professional environment. The best performing CITs will be selected to work and get paid their Junior & Senior year of High School.
