Kickoff Meeting

On behalf of Coach Joel and myself, I'd like to welcome you all San Carlos AYSO 6U Boys Team 8! (clearly one of the first pieces of business is letting the boys come up with a better team name)

Joel and I would like to have a quick team meeting with you and the boys to hand out uniforms, pick a team name, and just get everyone introduced before our first game. We'll meet at the picnic tables at Central (this is where all the games will be) and I'll bring pizza. If everyone could just respond to this poll and let me know which of these dates and start times work best hopefully we can get a date the everyone can make. The meeting should not take more than an hour and I bet we can get through all the critical stuff in 25-30 minutes if anyone has to leave early.https://doodle.com/poll/rzkgb5e6spr6rnww

A few quick notes about the season:
- Soccerama is Friday September 8th at 5:30pm (If you are unfamiliar with Soccerama we'll go over it at the meeting)
- First game is Saturday September 9th.
- I do not have the schedule yet, but all games will last an hour (first 30 minutes is practice, last 30 minutes is vs. another team), will be on Saturday, will be at Central, and if the pattern from last year holds start times will be somewhere between 10am-1pm.
- We'll have a game scheduled every Saturday, with the last game being 4-November.

That's all for now. I'll let you know when we have a final date and time for the kickoff meeting, an official game schedule and when I know the uniform color so the boys can start thinking about a team name. Let me know if there are any other questions.
