Spring and Fall Recreational Soccer Programs: 

Recreational SAY soccer for boys and girls ages 4 through 19 which teaches the fundamentals of soccer while having fun, getting exercise outdoors, meeting new friends, and learning important life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. The Kings Soccer Club is a member of Soccer Association for Youth (SAY) USA and as such is governed by SAY rules.

Spring Registration opens in October, with a guaranteed placement deadline in mid-January. Teams are formed in February. Practices begin in early March. The 8-10 game season begins in early April. Games are primarily played on Saturdays, with a few games on week nights. The Spring Season ends in late-May. 

Fall Registration opens in May, with a guaranteed placement deadline in mid-June. Teams are formed in July. Practices begin in early August. The 10-game season begins in September. Games are primarily played on Saturdays, with a few games played on week nights. The Fall Regular Season ends at the end of October.  The SAY North and State Tournaments begin the end of October and can run through mid-November, depending on team performance.

The Instructional Division, for ages 4-5, is our in-house, co-ed beginner division based on SAY rules. We focus on the fundamentals of soccer while teaching SAY rules and providing 3v3 game experiences.  The games are officiated by 2 trained referees and both coaches for each team will also help in the professional experience.

Age Divisions: 

·         Instructional (6U): Ages 4-5

·         Passers (8U): Ages 6-8

·         Wings (10U): Ages 8-10

·         Strikers (12U):  Ages 10-12

·         Kickers (14U): Ages 12-14

·         Minors (16U): Ages 14-16

·         Seniors (19U): Ages 16-19

Equipment: 

Each season, players will receive a new team jersey and socks. The only equipment players must provide is shin guards, shorts and soccer shoes.

Team formation:

All teams are formed based on a random draw as prescribed by SAY rules. Due to this process we cannot guarantee practice nights or times, nor can we honor playing with requests for coaches or for another player. If it is past the guaranteed placement date but before the start of games (April for spring and late August for Fall) we will do our best to place all players assuming divisions are not full.
