• Coordinate and represent the DASA program
• Conduct monthly meetings and follow up to assure all tasks are being accomplished.  Call special meetings as necessary
• Assist in selecting people to fill non-elected positions on the Board to assure all essential tasks are covered
• Assist in registration and team draft processes
• Follow up on all participant/parent concerns

Vice President

Description:
• Assume duties of the President in the event of the President’s absence or disability
• Assist in the registration and team draft processes
• Be the President’s liaison to all committees and report back to the President
• Coordinate “DASA Day” with area college and/or pro-soccer teams (UD, Columbus, etc)

Sponsor Coordinator

Description:
• Maintain current list of DASA Sponsors, including mailing address, point-of-contact, telephone, e-mail and web address if available.
• Order and deliver Sponsor Plaques with team pictures at the end of season
• Coordinate with Board the annual update of Sponsor letter, application form, and fee
• Obtain Sponsor logos prior to uniform orders; coordinate uniform order with Equipment Manager as needed
• Solicit new sponsors and follow-up on Sponsor checks throughout annual season
• Inform Photography Sponsor of DASA Picture Date and Schedule.

Area Board Representative

Description:

  • Represent DASA at all scheduled meetings of the Miami Valley North Soccer Association for the Wings division and above.
  • Keep DASA informed of all activities related to tournaments, clinics, rule changes, protests, etc.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of all games (regular or make-up) in conjunction with the regional game scheduling coordinator in conjunction with the regional Referee Coordinator and  affected coaches.

Coaching Coordinator

Description:

  • Contact all potential coaches using the previous year's roster and recruit new coaches.
  • Assure that all first-time coaches attend a SAY approved coaching clinic.
  • Follow up on concerns regarding coaches and discuss actions of resolution with the President or DASA board.
  • Coordinate a "coaches packet" and distribute to coaches at the start of the season, which covers key pieces of information needed for a successful coaching experience and season.
  • Distribute SAY rule book to all coaches.
  • Prepare schedule for all regular season games for the Lollipops and Passers divisions. Schedules include home and visiting teams, dates, times, and location of the games.
  • Assist with team the team draft process as needed and coordinate ordering and distribution of uniforms with the Equipment Manager.

Referee Coordinator

Description:
• Contact all potential referees using previous year’s roster and recruit new referees
• Assure that all referees attend a SAY approved referee clinic and receive their certification
• Distribute SAY rulebooks to all referees
• Arrange for provision of uniforms to referees as needed
• Assign referees for all scheduled home games and confirm their attendance
• Arrange for payment to referees for services rendered.  Present a statement to the Treasurer for payment
• Report to the President any action by a player, coach, assistant coach or spectator that has resulted in a protest or possible disciplinary action
