Benefits from Participating in the Super Y League ODP system?
• The selection of players within their natural environment on their club teams within league play, as opposed to an open-tryout system. Many players do not participate in the open-tryout ODP system operated by state associations, and other players do not perform well in the open tryout process.
• Exposure to the U.S. National Staff and Team Coaches.
• Exposure to professional and collegiate scouts.
• There is no cost to be scouted or to try out. The scouting system is built into league play and contains no additional ODP fees. Only those selected to attend ODP camps will incur camp fees.
• We will offer this opportunity to any player capable of playing at this high level, without regard to any club affiliation.
• Here at UFA-Norcross, all of our teams will be made up of top-level players from any number of clubs in the area. We strive to combine the best talent available across the state to form the most competitive teams in each age group.
How many players will be selected to each team?
• UFA-Norcross Super Y teams may roster up to 26 players, but can only dress 18 for each match.
• A player pool of over 18 players is often created for Super Y teams.
• Injuries and summer commitments (vacation, ODP regional camp, soccer camps, etc.) typically prevent teams from having an issue with too many available players.
Schedule
• The regular season will consist of 10-12 matches depending on the playing division and age group.
• The total points leader within the division will culminate the season with the Super Y League North American Finals, which will consist of a minimum four games.
Season Dates
• The regular season will be from June through August.
• We will avoid most major events such as State Cup, ODP camps etc.
• The UFA-Norcross Super Y League teams will play approximately 10-12 games throughout the summer, June through August.
• The Super Y-League North American Finals will be held in November.
Coaching
• The coaching staff will be comprised of nationally licensed coaches who also have extensive playing credentials.

What is the cost and what does it include?
The cost for playing UFA-Norcross Super Y :
U10 and U11 $300 for UFA players
$350 for non UFA players
U12 and up $450 for UFA players
$499 for non UFA player
This fee includes:
• Administration fees
• Coaching fees
• All league, player and coach registration fees
• Field rental costs
• Referee fees
• 10-12 games against some of the region’s top clubs
• Potential opportunities to participate (if selected) at the Super Y ODP National Camp in Florida.
What is not included:
Expenses excluded from this fee are:
• Personal travel expenses (gas, lodging, food, etc.)
• Expenses for teams that advance to the North American Finals
• Players selected to Super Y National ODP Camp.
Training and Game Schedules
• Practice approximately twice per week,
• Each session will last anywhere from 90-120 minutes
• Training will begin in June following club tryouts, but some teams may train during the spring.
• Most games will be played on weekends throughout June/July
• Most, if not all, matches will be concluded by the beginning of August, 2014.
• Training and home games will take place at Pinckneyville Park, Norcross
What are the North American Finals?
• The Super Y League North American Finals is regarded as one of the top youth soccer events in North America.
• It is a five-day tournament that includes more than 130 of the best U12 to U17 boys and girls soccer teams in the U.S. and Canada.
• Teams qualify from their respective regions and face the best from throughout North America in a quest to become a National champion.
• This event typically occurs in November/December in Tampa, FL.
