Recreation - Overview

The recreational soccer program is open to all children from pre-school to 9th grade and primarily serves residents in Warren, Watchung, Long Hill and Green Brook. The fundamental goals of the program include developing soccer skills, fostering proper attitudes toward competition and sportsmanship, learning the rules, teaching respect and the value of teamwork, and promoting self-confidence.

Further, the program offers an excellent opportunity to make new friends and provides a safe environment to develop skills and exercise.

Most importantly, we expect the program to provide a FUN, enjoyable and satisfying experience for all involved: players, coaches, referees and parents.
The program includes professional training for Preschool through 8th grade. In addition, programs for 2nd to 5th grade have professionals coaches at all games.  Divisions are organized for the children based on their grade enrollment and/or age. All programs last approximately 8-10 weeks in both the fall (early September until mid-November) and the spring (early April until mid-June).

Volunteers are critical to these programs, so if you would like to get involved, please let us know.
