The MTSC Rec (Recreation) Program gives boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 12 the opportunity to play this great game outside the school environment. The focus of the program are the FUNdamentals, with the emphasis on the Fun.  Players are taught basic soccer skills from our club's professional, licensed trainers. These skills include: ball mastery, passing, dribbling and shooting technique along with ingame basics.

The schedule and fees for Rec sessions vary with age as follows:

A second child participating in the program receives a $ 50 discount; a 3rd (or more) receives a $ 150 discount. The cancellation fee is $25. There are no refunds after the first week of the program. We do not prorate for late registrations.  Registration closes after the second week of the program.

When you log in to register, you'll be able to select your child's current grade, or 1 grade higher.  This allows your child to play with the next older group if you wish (for example, a 2nd grader playing with 3rd graders to get the additional weekday sessions).

All players should wear cleats (sneakers are OK for Pre-K and K), shin guards underneath soccer socks, and appropriate soccer clothing.  NO jewelry or watches permitted for safety reasons (Please take them off before getting on the fields, including earrings). Bring water. 

During the first week we will be giving out T-shirts to Pre-K and K players, and shirts / shorts / practice balls for Grade 1-6 players, which should be brought to practices.

9 weeks of sessions are scheduled, but as we cannot schedule make-up sessions, weather or field conditions may reduce the actual number of sessions held (we'll send an email and update the Field Status section of the Home page by 3pm weekdays and 8am Saturdays).

SATURDAY sessions are at the Mill Pond Soccer Complex (11 Mill Pond Rd, Belle Mead NJ 08502), field #3 (at the end of the parking lot...  look for the welcome tent).

WEEKDAY sessions are at Lubas Field (Route 601 Belle Mead, near the Carrier Clinic)

Session Times:
PreK Age 3-4:  Saturdays 9 - 10am OR Tuesdays 5 - 6pm
K and PreK Age 5: Saturdays 10 - 11am OR Tuesdays 6 - 7pm
1st grade boys: Saturdays 11-12am, Thursdays 5:00 - 6:00pm
1st and 2nd grade girls: Saturdays 11-12am, Thursdays 6:10 - 7:10pm
2nd grade boys: Saturdays 11-12am, Thursdays 7:15 - 8:15pm
3rd grade:  Saturdays 12-1pm, Wednesdays and Fridays 5:00 - 6:30pm
4th grade: Saturdays 12-1pm, Wednesdays and Fridays 5:00 - 6:30pm
5th - 6th grade:  Saturdays 12-1pm, Wednesdays and Fridays 6:45 - 8:15pm

Session Dates:
First sessions Tuesday, Sept 12 (Tues PreK/K), Wednesday, Sept 13 (Grades 3-6), Thursday, Sept 14 (Grades 1-2),  Saturday Sept 16 (Sat PreK/K)
Last session Saturday Nov 18 (Tuesday, Nov 14 for Tuesday evening PreK/K).

NO SESSIONS Tuesday Oct 31 (Halloween) and Thursday Nov 9 - Saturday Nov 11 (Teacher Convention Break).
