PARENT/VOLUNTEER COACHES
Are the backbone of Centre Soccer programs as a community non-profit organization we rely on them to run our programs. We do at times hire qualified coaches to come and work with our teams and coaches.
Fundamental u5 | u6 - At this level Centre Soccer hires Soccer Shots and Eric Wales to organize, plan and facilitate training sessions during the week, we hope that parent coaches will enjoy the opportunity to work with the kids without the pressure of coming up with activities to keep these young players engaged. Coaches act as assistant coaches during the training sessions and are responsible for their team on game days, handling substitutions, half time and communicating with team parent's.
Requirements: Attend preseason coaches meeting, positive attitude and enjoys working with kids, pass Background Check

Fundamental u7/8 - At this level Centre Soccer hires a Director to organize and plan training sessions but coaches are responsible for coaching the session outlined. The Director will email out the lesson plan on Sunday's, it is the coaches responsibility to read, make sure they understand and are prepared to run the session as outlined. On training days Coaches should arrive early and get session set, check in team and then run session, every session finishes with a small sided game in teams. Coaches must find a team parent to fill in for them if they need to miss and communicate this with the Director early. The Director will be on site to answer questions, assist when needed and make sure things are going well and the players are enjoying the game. On game days the Coaches are responsible for their team, handling substitutions, half time and communicating with team parent's.

Developmental u8 - At this level Center Soccer hires a Director to organize and plan training sessions but coaches are responsible for coaching the sessions outlined. Training Sessions will be emailed to the coaches prior to each session. The focus of this program is on individual player development and the sessions are designed to have players on the ball as much as possible, all sessions finish with small sided games with in teams. Coaches are responsible for communicating with parents each week to let them know if that week is an Ability Week or a Team Week so players know what field to report to. On game days the Coaches are responsible for their team, handling substitutions, half time, etc. On team training days Coaches have the flexibility to organize their own training session but need to finish all sessions with small sided games.

On game days the Coaches are responsible for their team, handling substitutions, half time, etc. On team training days Coaches have the flexibility to organize their own training session but need to finish all sessions with small sided games.

The sessions are designed to have players on the ball as much as possible and working in small groups, all sessions finish with small sided games within teams. Coaches are responsible for communicating with parents each week to let them know if that week is an Ability Week or a Team Week so players know what field to report to. On game days the Coaches are responsible for their team, handling substitutions, half time, etc. On team training days Coaches have the flexibility to organize their own training session but need to finish all sessions with small sided games. At this age Center Soccer tries to organize some games with outside competition, coaches maybe asked to represent CSA by coaching in these games.
