UFA 03 RED (U11B)
The United FA 03 Red coached by Luke Collins, had there hands full with three top level opponents for their first trip to Disney Junior showcase tournament in Orlando, Florida. With a great venue and beautiful weather the boys faced national powerhouse Dallas Texans for the first match. UFA played a quality game from start to finish with a convincing 4-0 win over the Texans. The U11 UFA boys went on to win the group and qualify for the semi finals. After marching their way through the group stages to the semi-finals; the boys faced stiff competition to the eventual U11 boys Premier Disney Showcase champions Doral SC from Miami, Florida. The game was a closely contested match that unluckily finished 1-0 in favor of Doral SC. Great job U11 RED as they brought a 3rd place finish back home to Georgia.

UFA 03 BLACK (U11G)
The United FA 03 Black, coached by Paul Dodsworth, reached the Disney Showcase Final in the second bracket. In their first Disney tournament, the team lost the opening game 3-0 to the eventual Champions, Charlotte Torsion Elite. The beat Sunrise Sting (FL) 2-1 with superb 20 yard strike from Morgan. They secured their place in the semi final with a 2-0 win over Krush Black (FL).
Reaching the Final Four, they played Concorde Fire Central Black, winning a hard fought dramatic contest 3-2 in overtime.
In the final they lost to Charlotte Torsion Elite, their opponents from the opening game at Disney. A great weekend, against all the teams who were their clubs top team. The team included: Frankie, Anna, Maddie, Sofia, Carson, Kayla, Morgan, Isabella, Cat, Jordan and Maya. |

UFA 03 RED (U11G)
The United FA 03 Red, coached by Paul Dodsworth, reached the Disney Showcase Semi Final in the top bracket. In their first Disney tournament, the team beat Weston Premier (FL) 3-0, Chicago Magic (IL) 5-0 and lost 3-2 to GSA Red in the group stages.
Reaching the Final Four, they played Cincinnati United Premier, who went onto win the Championship. United FA 03 Red scored the only goal that Cincinnati conceded all tournament. The team included, Nicole, Ashlyn, Isa, Aja, Caroline, Kendall, Lydia, Faith, Courtney, Rylee, Anna and Emerson.

UFA 02 RED (12G)
The girls headed to Disney for the second year. Last year at U11, the team was undefeated but the goal differential kept them from winning their group and advancing to the next stage.
The objective was clear this time: decisively winning the group stage and advancing to the semifinal … they did! In the opening game vs Weston FC, the team got on the score board early and never looked back in a 8-1 victory. The second game was a tough physical battle with every ball roughly challenged. Finding the net both early in the first and second halves, the girls held on to a 2-1 win vs
DSC Revolution. Going in the 3rd and final group game, the team was in first place, only needing a tie against Jacksonville FC. UFA, who had been playing short, looked tired but managed a 0-0 tie necessary to win the group and advance to the next stage.
In the semi-final vs Creeks Crush, the #1 team in the country, the team delivered a great half, but were down 1-0 against the run of play. Down 2-0 early in the second half, our girls refused to lose, rolled up their sleeves and delivered a United style comeback to tie the game with 5 minutes left sending it into overtime.
With the game still tied at the end of overtime, it was time for penalty kicks where UFA lost so close to the final. “I was so proud of them”, said Coach Deo, “because they wanted it and gave themselves a chance to be in the final.”

UFA 01 RED (U13B)
The U13 Boys Red team, led by Coach Gaucho, won their group in the Championship Division at the Disney Junior Soccer Showcase Tournament to compete in the Semi-Finals. The U13B Red team won all 3 games in group play by outscoring their opponents 10-2 over the 3 games, and advanced to the Semi-Finals on Sunday. The team played hard in the Semis against a formidable Florida team, but came up one goal down in the final minutes of the game.
