NEW TEAMS – “TO DO” LIST:
- New teams should provide the Club Administrator and Director of Coaching with the following:
- Gender and Age Group (ie B01 White)
- Coach’s name, email and phone
- Assistant Coach’s name, email and phone
- Team Administrator’s name, email and phone
- Ensure all your families have registered online with the club.
- Review the league registration information on our website to determine what information is needed to register your team.
- Schedule a parent meeting to gather needed information and discuss the upcoming season.
- Instruct your players to order their uniforms from Soccer Village online. Refer them to the Uniform Ordering page on our website.
- Calculate a budget for the season and communicate deadlines for payment to your families.
- Set up the phone messaging system (if interested)
- Open/Update a team checking account; please email the club bookkeeper with any questions.
FEES:
Fees for the fall and spring seasons consist of club fees and team fees.
Club Fees include: CUSL league fees, player cards, coaching/training, field rental, maintenance and equipment and league referee assignor fees. The club fees will be paid by each player directly to the club via online payment through Blue Sombrero, or check made out and mailed to: WCSC PO Box 1105, Mason, OH 45040. The club has a tiered fee structure where different level teams will pay different amounts depending on the age group, level of play, amount of training, type of coach (paid coach or volunteer coach) and level of commitment required by the players. Please refer to the WCSC Payments Fall 2014 Spring 2015 to see what the club fees are for your specific team. These amounts are listed per season.
Team Fees include: league fees other than CUSL, all league referee fees, tournament fees, equipment fees, first aid supplies, phone messaging system, coaching travel fees (if applicable) and other costs specific to the team. The team fee is paid via check to the Coach or Team Administrator of your team. The team fee varies by team depending on the number of players on the team and the number of tournaments your team plays.
FUNDRAISING:
Currently our club participates in the Scrip program. Please refer to Shop with Scrips Letter Fall 2014 for details.
TEAM CHECKING ACCOUNT:
We have a relationship with the Fifth Third Bank in Landen; 9095 Lighthouse Way, Deerfield Twp, 45140
Phone: (513) 683-2900. Please contact the club bookkeeper ([email protected]) to be added as a signor to your team's checking account, or if you are a new team, to open a new team checking account. The club has a fiduciary responsibility with regard to our Federal Tax ID. Therefore, all teams are required to use the banking accounts set up through the club with Fifth Third.
UNIFORMS:
All uniform orders are placed online with Soccer Village. Instructions for ordering can be found in the Other Tab/Uniforms page of our website. If you have any questions, please email Cindy Hoover, the uniform coordinator, at [email protected]
TOURNAMENTS:
Each season the Directors of Coaching will provide their tournament recommendations.

Be sure to review tournament options in advance to the start of the season and make note of tournament registration deadlines.
In addition, Warren County hosts Cincy Challenge in October of the Fall season. WC teams must pay full price to participate in the Cincy Challenge and all WC teams are expected to participate.

- Guest Players
- Permission to Travel (when playing out-of-state tournaments.)
FIELDS/FACILITIES:
Our home field is Lebanon Sports Complex located at 900 McClure Road, Lebanon, OH 45036. Always refer to our website or field hotline (513-588-0011) for the current field status. The website and hotline will be updated by 3:00pm each weekday and by 8:30am on the weekends to alert you of field closures.
Please encourage your teams to respect our fields and facilities. Please make sure the field is free from garbage or left-over items after each game/practice.
PHONE MESSAGING SYSTEM:
Some teams choose to use a phone messaging system to help with team communications, such as One Call Now,www.onecallnow.com. If your team is interested in setting this up, you will need to include this cost in your team budget.
INSURANCE:
Ohio South Youth Soccer Association provides general liability and participant accident medical coverage for their member affiliates while conducting operations on behalf of Ohio South Youth Soccer Association.
Contact Ohio South's office at [email protected] to request a copy of the insurance certificate. Provide your club name, team name, team number as well as the name and address of the organization requesting the proof of insurance.
