Gorham Tike's is for 1st and 2nd graders. This is a developmental tackle team which is a fun, safe way for kids (and parents) to decide if the sport is right for them. At this level practices and games will focus on the fundamentals of football such as positions, proper tackling and blocking techniques and football "lingo".

Games are played each weekend (1 weekend day per week) for 6 weeks. There are no officials for Tike's games, however, 2 coaches per team are on the field at all times making sure that all players are engaged, focused, having fun and being safe.

Practice schedules are generally announced in early August and commence in late August with practices 3 days/week for 1 1/2 - 2 hours each. Once school starts practices cut down to 2 days/week. Practices are held at Chick Property (fields behind Narragansett School). Game locations will rotate.
