Why Wrestle?

·  Opportunity to compete one on one with an opponent your child’s size

·  Wrestling is a growing sport and one of the original sports in the ancient Olympic Games

How Wrestling can help Football, Lacrosse, or any other athlete:

·  Self-reliance: The ability to make things happen without help from others

·  Wrestling promotes Agility, Coordination, Quickness, Upper Body strength, Mental Toughness, Proprioception, Anaerobic and Aerobic Conditioning

Top Cat Wrestling Camp is hosted by the Arlington Wrestling Club (AWC) and the Region Champion Arlington High School Tigers Wrestling team.  Arlington Wrestling Club is a member of USA Wrestling.

AWC’s mission and goals are:

1.       Promote youth wresting within Arlington and surrounding communities

2.       Serve as a developmental program for the AHS Tiger Wrestling program

3.       Develop mentally strong and physically fit athletes

We do this by supervising a disciplined and competitive youth wrestling program that builds youth participants with the ideals of hard work, sportsmanship, and respect for others.  Our program is open to beginners and very experienced wrestlers.  We are one of the larger and more successful programs in this region; producing many city champions and regional champions at the club and high school level, All-State and All-American wrestlers.

Arlington Wrestling Club and the Arlington Tigers Wrestling Program have a very experienced coaching staff.  The diverse staff has a combined 75+ years of wrestling experience from all over the country.
