Please be informed of the following important information regarding Game Cancellations and Game Makeups-

*Who decides game cancellations?

Game cancellations are made by the Little League Presidents at each individual park. Managers and Coaches may NOT cancel a game.

*Where do I find game cancellation information?

Game cancellation information will be posted here as soon as it is available. Please remember that all of the people who make these decisions work real-life jobs and are often not available to make these decisions immediately as we have someone travel to the fields to check on them. We are also working on setting up a text alert system.

**We will not respond to phone calls, emails, or Facebook messages asking if a game is cancelled.

*Where do I find makeup game information?

Game makeup information will be relayed to the Managers as soon as it has been decided.

**As a gentle reminder, please do not post the redundant question of “Are the games cancelled?” whenever it is threatening rain or just beginning to rain on a game day. We work in conjunction with several people within FRALL and in conjunction with the other Leagues to make the decision as to whether games will be cancelled when weather conditions are not favorable. Sometimes this decision can be made earlier in the day and sometimes the decision has to be made closer to game time, as we cannot control when it will begin to rain, how long it will rain, how hard it will rain, where it will rain, or when the other Leagues will contact us. SOMETIMES WE MAY PLAY IN LIGHT RAIN AS LONG AS THE FIELD CONDITIONS REMAIN GOOD if it begins to rain during a game. We do our best to make these decisions before you may begin to travel to your game, but it is not always possible as weather conditions can change quickly.

When Facebook members make multiple posts asking if games are cancelled, it prevents other members from seeing the important announcement updates of whether games are cancelled or not for us or the League that our teams are playing at. We will not answer individual posts or private messages about cancellations. In fact, those posts may be deleted so everyone can see the “official” weather post.
