U13/14 MDU Teams - 11v11

For the dedicated, higher level experienced player. The Union Classic Teams are formed at U13 and players must tryout to make the teams. Training focus is now on team tactics; including being coached based on positions or lines. Physical training is a part of regular training, technical repetition is still important. Playing time is not guaranteed to be equal for players at this level but is earned and left to the discretion of the coach based on the competition. Winning will not be the main focus of these teams as we will continue to put an emphasis on player development but it will play more of a role as teams need to finish well to stay in the Classic Division.

Players that are selected to play with the MDU Classic teams will represent MDU in outside competition and play in a PA West Presidents Cup. Playing in a Classic Team involves a greater time commitment and, often time, a greater financial commitment to the sport. Teams train 2-3 times per week and have games on Saturday's throughout PA West.
