Clemens Unit - November 27, 2012

A team of 6 Sports Quest players visited the Clemens Unit in Brazoria County on Tuesday November 27 to play two hours of indoor soccer against the inmates. Partnering with Charm Prison Ministry in the "Clemens Crusade" (www.charmprisonministry.org), Sports Quest then had dinner in the "chow" room with the inmates before entering Chapel for praise and worship as well as listen to messages from two guest speakers. Three soccer balls were donated to the unit by Sports Quest, and it was great to share our love for the game of soccer and also encourage the inmates through personal interaction and prayer.
