Richard played club and high school soccer in the late 70’s and early 80’s in St. Petersburg, Florida. , NAIA division II College soccer in Arkansas and in adult competitive soccer leagues in Florida and Georgia. Between semesters he was often found playing indoor soccer in Pinellas Park with and against many Tampa Bay Rowdies and Ft Lauderdale Strikers during the NASL off-seasons. While serving in the US Navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, he represented his country in friendly matches in Argentina, Chile, and throughout the Caribbean. He has coached youth and club soccer since the late 80’s for ages ranging from U-5 through U-14. He has been employed as a professional coach and trainer for the following soccer clubs: Azalea Youth Soccer League, Clay County Soccer Association, Jacksonville Youth Soccer Association, Forsyth Fusion, Lanier Soccer Association, and United Futbol Academy.
Richard is a technical trainer and software developer. He is employed by Wakefield Beasley & Associates in Norcross as Director of CAD Technology. He lives with wife, Heather, and son, Trevor (UFA Select player) in Cumming, GA. |

Philip Broome  |

Philip Broome grew up playing youth soccer in Texas where he was the Boy’s high school player of the year…a long time ago. Philip began his soccer coaching career as an Assistant Women’s Coach at Rivier University in 1998. Upon moving to Georgia he became the Executive Director for the Alpharetta Ambush where he helped develop the training curriculum, and mission for the club. He currently holds a USSF C license and has been coaching youth soccer for the past 14 years. In 2011 he was inducted into the Rivier University, NCAA Hall of Fame as a 4 year captain and the career leader in assists. In addition, Philip is the girls’ varsity coach at Milton High School where they have won back to back Region Championships, and in 2011-2012 they were the GHSA Girl’s 5A State Champions. In his two years as the varsity girl’s coach, he has amassed a record of 39-3-1 and has been honored twice as the 5A Girl’s Coach of the Year! Coach Philip places a huge emphasis on family and stresses the importance of a balanced life in order to be successful. He has been married to his wife Linda for 10 years in October, with 3 children, Hunter, Hayden, and Hailey, and they currently reside in Cumming. |

Luke coached four years at the Forsyth Fusion before joining the UFA team. He is known for his ability to develop and identify young players, coupled with his enthusiasm for teaching the game. As Director of Player Development for several years at Henry County Thunder, Luke implemented programs for players age 4-12, including the Junior Academy of Excellence.
Luke attended Clayton State College and University and Georgia Perimeter College. In 1999 Luke was named to the region team. He graduated from Clayton State with a degree in Psychology and Human Services. Additionally Luke has been an instructor for GA soccer, Soccer in the Streets, and coach for Alpharetta Super Y. He gained his A License in Coaching in 2010. |

Robin Dixon

Robin has been involved in developing soccer players at the youth level for over 20 years. He began coaching while playing collegiately at Wake Forest in the early 90’s. He then worked 6 years with Baton Rouge United as the Assistant Director followed by five years with the New Orleans Soccer Academy as both the Boys’ Director and the Developmental Program Director (ages 4-10). Robin Dixon joined the Norcross Soccer Academy (now UFA-Norcross) Coaching Staff after 6 years at AFC Lightning where he was hired as the Director of Player Development in 2004. Shortly thereafter, he was named the Director of the Boys’ Program in 2006 serving in this capacity through the 2009-10 season.
Robin has extensive experience at every level of youth soccer development from the 4 year old beginners to the experienced College players. He has had the opportunity to coach 10 teams to State Championships, 2 RPL Champions and has been a part of several Region III medal winners.

Paul was born and raised in England, playing college and league soccer. He has a 1stclass degree in engineering from Nottingham University, and has worked for global corporations in senior management positions. Paul has coached youth soccer extensively for the well respected Discoveries FC, a youth soccer organization in England, guiding his teams to league and tournament titles. He is a licensed English FA coach and is continuing his coaching career in the US, following a family move. |

Ryan grew up playing club soccer in Tennessee and then High School and Club soccer in Rome Ga. He played three years on the North Georgia College Soccer team from 2002 to 2005. He has coached youth and club soccer since 2005 for ages ranging from U-5 through U-19 at the Recreational, Classic, Athena, and Regional levels.
Ryan completed his first undergraduate degree from North Georgia College and State University in Physics (2005) and completed his second undergraduate from Georgia Tech in Industrial Engineering (2007). He is married to Allison Eskew Hogue who is a Physical Therapist in the Dawsonville area. They live in Dahlonega, Georgia.

Chase Holland

Chase is from Marietta, Georgia where he played high school soccer at Cherokee Christian Schools. He went on to play college soccer at Bryan College where they were ranked #9 in the country in the NAIA and won the region two years in a row. Chase went on to play with the Atlanta SIlverbacks and the Miami Dade FC.
Coming back to the Atlanta area, Chase is the goalkeeper coach for Georgia State, Cambridge High School and Parkview High School. He is also pursuing his degree in Business Adminstration at Liberty University.

Akil Howard |

Akil Howard is a native New Yorker who played on the NY ODP Team. He also attended Shattuck St. Mary’s Development Academy residency program where he reached National Championship finals twice. He represented the St. Vincent and the Grenadines under 20 national team for the under 20 world cup qualifiers as well as the under 23 St. Vincent and the Grenadines Olympic qualifiers. He attended Penn State and was a part of the men’s Division I soccer team where he was a two-time Big 10 Conference Champion. Upon graduation, he signed a contract with Minnesota United Reserves, as well as coached at his Alma Mater Shattuck St. Mary’s U-18 Boys US Development Academy. He completed his FA youth level 1 License while on trial in England with Huddersfield Town A.F.C and has four years of coaching experience. |

Glen has been a soccer coach for the past 12years. He spent the last two seasons as Director of Coaching Academy level (U12 ages) for 10sport Maccabi. Glen holds a USSF D license as well as NSCAA level 4 license (Advanced National Diploma)
His playing experience includes: 2000- 2001 Toronto Thunderhawks (NPSL) youth Academy and 2002-2005 Northwood University (West Palm Beach)
Glen coaching experience includes the Lake Worth Sharks from 2002-2005, Dreyfoos School of the Arts 2003-2004, North Miami Maccabi (10sport) 2006-2009, 2001-2013, and the Coral Springs Renegades from 2010-2011. Glen coaches the Coral Springs Renegades 93/94 Girls to a Florida Youth Soccer Association State Cup champion in 2010.

Coach Asmir holds the USSF National "A" coaching license. Asmir has over 10 years of coaching experience with select and academy teams.He previously coached the Houston Internationals, Roswell Santos, Stars Sc, and Georgia Rush teams. He currently coaches Milton High school Junior Varsity girls team.
His playing career started in Radnik Bijeljina (Bosnia and Herzegovina). In Germany coach Asmir played for S.V. Stern Britz Berlin, BFC Preussen Berlin, and BFC Turkiyemspor Berlin. With BFC Turkiyemspor Asmir played professionally in Regional Liga Germany. In 1993 with S.V. Stern Britz Asmir won the the championship and the promotion to Landesliga. In 1994 Asmir won the Berliner Pokal (Cup) with S.V. Stern Britz. In 1995 Asmir was named the top goalscorer in the Coppa De Mediterano tournoment in Blanes- Spain. In 1996 coach Asmir won the state with his high school team Paul Lobe Oberschulle Berlin Germany.

Bert Leonard  |

Bert Leonard is from Decatur, GA and attended Decatur High School. Bert played for the Univ. of Hartford and Georgia State University as well as one season in Oslo, Norway for Ready FC. Bert is currently an assistant coach for the Atlanta Silverbacks and is responsible for video analysis and scouting.
Bert has taken numerous coaching internships in Europe for top clubs and their youth academies which include: Liverpool, Manchester City, Rochdale, Lyn-Oslo, Stabak, Sporting Portugal and Ajax. Bert is also the CEO for a video analysis software company called Interplay-sports, USA which many teams will use this year at UFA for video analysis team presentations.

Scott played club and high school soccer in Buffalo, New York. He previously coached club soccer out of Dacula Soccer Club from 2006-2008, where he guided his girls’ Select team from the U-16 Athena D level to the U-19 Athena B1 level in 3 years. Scott has been a member of the ASA/United FA staff since 2009 and has coached in the Academy and Select programs. He was the boys’ Varsity soccer coach at Grayson High School since its inception in 2001 and guided them to the 2004 AAA State Championship. Scott has twice been named Gwinnett County High School Coach of the Year (1998 and 2004) and was named NSCAA State Coach of the Year for A-AAAA Schools in 2004. Scott started the girls’ soccer program at Lambert High School in the spring of 2010.
Scott graduated from Buffalo State College with a B.S. in Secondary Education and he completed his Master’s Degree in Science Education at the University of Georgia. He also teaches Physics at Lambert High School.

Josh McGlamery

Josh McGlamery grew up playing soccer in the Greater Atlanta area at the Classic 1 level for various clubs. He graduated from Chattahoochee High School, Alpharetta, GA, in 2001 having been a 3-year starter and letterman for Chattahoochee’s varsity team. The height of his club experience included playing for Concorde Soccer Association’s 2000-01 U18 State Championship team. His coaching career started at age 16 when he began working summer soccer camps under the guidance of Angus McAlpine, who is the 26th coach to complete his USSF A License in US history. Josh gained 6 years of experience working under the international veteran.
2001-2003 Josh played for Belmont Abbey College, Charlotte, NC on scholarship. After taking a short break from the game his love for it brought him back to coaching in 2007. For the past 7 years he has coached Academy and Select teams . In 2010 he completed his USSF National C License.

Aimee originally grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland and moved to Atlanta in 2015. At age 9. She initially joined a boys club and then went on to play semi-professional soccer in the Irish League as well as for her high school team. Aimee then moved to England to study at the University of Central Lancashire, where she graduated with a degree in Sports Coaching. While studying, she played for the Ladies University Soccer team who won both the league and the cup and then went on to win Team of the Year and was then scouted to play professionally for Blackpool Ladies Football Club. Aimee has been coaching for 7 years and has her IFA Introductory Award, IFA Level 1 and UEFA C Licence. |

Dave Miller has been a coach for well over 23 years starting in his native island of Jamaica. He started playing through the islands youth systems all the way to the High School set up. After High School he got into coaching when the opportunity presented itself.
In 1998 Prior to Jamaica’s run to the world cup, Coach Dave assisted and worked closely with then head coach Bradley Stewart. In 2005 -2015 Coach Dave held the Assistant Director position for the Ft. Lauderdale Lions Soccer club in Fort Lauderdale, FL which consisted of over 100 kids and also a senior team program. He also had the chance to work with and mentor current US youth national team player Shaquell Moore, whom he started working with at a tender age.

Siba Mohammed  |

Coach Siba began coaching academy and select socer in 2007 with the Forsyth Fusion. He is no stranger to hard work and top-level soccer. Siba received a scholarship to play for the NCAA Division I and current National Champion, University of Maryland Men’s Soccer Team. It was there that he helped lead the Terps to two NCAA Final Four appearances, and an ACC Championship. Siba was a part of the University of Maryland Summer Camp Staff, directed by National Coach of the Year Sasha Cirovski. Prior to playing at Maryland, he was the team captain of the Javanon club team that won the Under 16 National Championship. In doing so he received recognition from the Kentucky House of Representatives and Senate. In 1996 he was voted the Best Delegate at the Kentucky United Nations Assembly. Coach Siba is originally from Ghana and played for the Ghana U-15 National team. He was honored with the prestigious National Golden Boot in 1995. |

Nkiru Okosieme a.k.a. “Nk” holds the USSF National “B” License and the National NSCAA GK License with over 15 years of playing experience at the highest level and 10 years of coaching experience. She was the assistant coach at Clayton State University from 2005 – 2011, Program Coordinator and Player Development at Attack Youth Soccer Club for 5 years. She is also involved with the Georgia State ODP Program and is a Coaching Instructor. She played with the Charlotte Lady Eagles in Charlotte, North Carolina from 2001 – 2005 winning honors with the team and was named Rookie of the year in her first season.
At the International level, NK represented her country, Nigeria, in four Women’s World Cup—1991, 1995, 1999 and 2003 including the Sydney Summer Olympics in 2000. She has won the African Women’s Cup for three consecutive times. She is Clayton State first-ever All-American and a three time All PeachBelt Conference and ALL-Southeast Regional selection in 2001, 2002 and 2004. Nk has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Masters in Healthcare Management. |

Coach Stephen holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma and have over 20 years of coaching experience with Academy, Select and ODP teams. Previously coached at the SDYMCA, Stone Mountain Youth Soccer Association, and Triumph Youth Soccer Association.
Coach Stephen is a native of Trinidad and Tobago where he excelled as a player in high school gaining a selection to represent his region with a chance to get into the national youth team pool. Stephen attended Baruch College, NY and was a three year all conference first team selection from 1986 to 1988.

Bernard Ryce was born in South America where he played competitive youth soccer from 1979 -1982. After moving to United States Bernard attended college in New York City , and participated in adult soccer leagues. In 2001- 2002 Bernard was a staff coach with Georgia Futbol Club U15 Girls Athena Team. In 2002, Bernard founded and was the Director of Youth Development for COSMOS UFC in Jonesboro, where he oversaw and managed 100+ recreational and select players. He has led a number of teams to undefeated seasons, division titles, and multiple tournament championships and finalists’ honors.
Bernard has volunteered his time to coach and develop a soccer program with Mount Zion Christian Academy (Jonesboro, Georgia) . In addition, he is assists with the pre-season training of Clayton State University ’s Women’s team. Bernard is the 2004 recipient of the Walt Chyzowych Award and 2005 April Heinrichs Award for his coaching abilities and community involvement.

Rafiq was raised in Trinidad, West Indies where he developed his love of soccer. He began playing soccer for various youth leagues as well as on his high school varsity team. He continued on to play varsity soccer at Howard University in Washington, DC. While there, he earned a Student Athlete Award for his academic achievements. Rafiq graduated with a degree in Finance and moved to Memphis where he began volunteering as a coach for a team at Pleasant View Elementary School, where he co-founded the Pleasant View Panthers. He later began working with Falcons Futbol Club in Memphis, TN where he served as an assistant coach. He also coached summer camps. Rafiq moved to Atlanta in 2010 and soon after began his work with UFA in the recreational program, as a trainer. Rafiq received his National D License, and is currently head coach for Select and Academy Teams. |

Lia Sheley  |

Lia has coached with Forsyth Fusion for 1 1/2 years in the Pre-Academy and Academy programs, Girls and Boys. Lia previously coached at the Forsyth YMCA. In college she played for the University of Florida and won the NCAA Division 1 Championship 1998 as well as the SEC Championship 1998. Lia was also a member of the Jacksonville, FL Jade Premier Women’s Soccer team in 1998. Lia attended Chaminade College Preparatory and was a member of the varsity team 1994-1998.
She helped lead them to be California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Division III champions in 1996-97 and 1997-98 . Additionally, she was named to the Los Angeles Times All-Region first-team during the 1996-97 school year, while also being named Most Valuable Player and member of the All-League Academic Team. As a club player Lia was a three-time District Olympic Development Team (ODP) member at center midfielder. She was also able to tour Europe as a member of the West Valley Fusion Club team in 1994, earning 1st place in the Vildberg Cup and 3rd in the Dana Cup. |

"Coach" Kasumu Sillah hails originally from Liberia having lived and coached in Georgia since 1999 when he became a member of the Georgia Coaches Soccer Association. Coach has a vast resume of both playing and coaching professionally. Highlights include: playing for the Guinean champion club A.S.Kaloum, the Liberian National Soccer Team and the LPRC Oilers in the Liberia National Soccer League, Monrovia, Liberia. Coach Sillah won four championship titles with the LPRC Oilers. From 2005-2006, Coach Sillah served as a volunteer coach for the Liberian Women’s National Soccer team while simultaneously serving as the Vice President of Operations for the Liberian Soccer Coaches Association. In 2008, Coach served as the Assistant National Soccer Coach for the Liberian National Soccer Team (Lone Stars) in both World Cup and African Cup of Nations qualifying competition.
In addition to his passion for developing and coaching soccer players, Coach Sillah is fluent in both English and French. He has two BA degrees in both International Relations and Criminal Justice from Morehouse College. He is currently the International Sports Coordinator for the Bong County Sports Association, Liberia, the Legends of Liberia Soccer Players, and the Pro USA, Liberia as well as the Vice President of Operations, Liberian Soccer Coaches Association, Monrovia. At United FA, Coach Sillah coaches and trains close to 400 Academy/Select players per week from ages U5-U16. He also helps develop recreational players to the Academy level.

Jacenir joins UFA this year. He is originally from Brazil and has enjoyed a long career as a professional player from 1978 to 1995. Jacenir then began his coaching career in Brazil. He then served as head coach of the Atlanta Silverbacks in 2004 before heading to Kuwait and finishing as head coach of Al Jahra until last year. |

Eric Swanburg

Eric coached with Forsyth Fusion Soccer Club for one year working with academy and recreation players. Eric previously coached at Norcross Soccer Academy and Norcross High School as the JV girls head coach. Eric, a native of California, moved to Georgia in 1996 to continue his soccer career with the 86’ Norcross Soccer Academy Fury winning several top notch tournaments and taking many division victories in one of the top brackets in the South-East region.
Eric was also a contributing dynamic of the Norcross High School varsity boy’s undefeated regular season in 2005 as the team finished a remarkable 12-0; Eric received three “player of the game” awards during that season. Upon graduation, Eric received multiple scholarship offers from schools both inside and outside of the state of Georgia to play college level soccer. In 2005,
Eric made the decision to play for the University of Mobile, a NAIA powerhouse, under the direction of coach Peter Fuller who had lead the team to a National Championship in 2003. Eric has been coaching soccer for over 6 years now and plans to continue his coaching education striving to better his players every day.

Jose joined the UFA family in the Fall of 2011. He grew up playing youth soccer in Atlanta, and received his first coaching license at the age of 15. At the age of 15 he also suffered a severe knee injury, and over the next 5 years had 5 knee operations, which as a result steered his focus more into developing as a youth coach.
Jose served as the first Director of Coaching for the former Forsyth Fusion from 2001-2005. After leaving the Fusion he served as Director of Coaching for Georgia Futbol Club from 2005 - 2011. He received his USSF "B" National license in 1997, the NSCAA Premiere in 2004, and also holds the National Youth License. Jose has a number of years of experience as an ODP coach, and a Georgia Coaching Instructor. Jose is the current UFA Director for our Tournaments, and coaches 3 Select teams at the club, the Girls 00 Elite, Girls 01 Elite, and the '96 Girls Red team. He is married to Regina, has 10 children, of which 6 of them currently play in the club.

Bob Wade

Bob was born and raised in Miami, Fl. were he played club and high school soccer. After retiring from racing as a professional jockey Bob enrolled in college and his second soccer career began. Bob has coached over 10 years in Florida and Georgia. He has worked with kids from U6 to U16. He is in his fifth year with ASA and helped launch the Academy Program and was coach of the first ever U8 Future Academy team for ASA. Bob and all three of his children play at UFA.
