Season Update

EBSA families:

Just a reminder that EBSA still plans on having a baseball/softball season in 2020. We are closely following and eagerly awaiting updates of the Governor’s plans for recreational sports in Ohio.  We hope that more information will be released in the coming weeks that will allow us to begin practicing and scheduling games for this season. Little League International has stated today that there will not be a LL world series or regional tournaments since there is considerable travel and international teams involved in those tournaments. Little League does support all districts and teams having a season as well as district All-Star tournaments, while following state and local guidelines. Our season is currently postponed not cancelled, therefore we are not currently providing any refunds at this time. If we would be unable to have a season we would then discuss a refund/credit policy. Please keep in mind that we are a non-profit organization and we have already incurred the cost of planning and preparing for this season before the Covid-19 pandemic, which includes uniforms for over 400 players, equipment and first aid kits for 39 teams, property taxes, insurance premiums, Little League charter, and field maintenance items.

We are excited to share that our uniforms are in and team equipment bags are filled! We look forward to seeing all of our players soon!

We will continue to provide updates as they become available. We appreciate your patience and continue to look forward to our 2020 season!
