SSYS Families -
We are excited to kick off our spring baseball season with Sandy Springs Youth Sports in 2020! We wanted to let you know of a few key dates over the next couple of months. If you have not yet registered, register soon as registration closes on Jan. 15th and we expect to have several leagues filled.

• Sat. & Sun. Jan. 25 – 26^th: Evaluations for 7-12 YO’s

•  AAA Ball (9YO) – Sunday Jan. 26^th*
•  AA Ball (8YO) – Sunday Jan. 26^th*
•  A Ball (7YO) – Sunday Jan. 26^th*
•  American & National League (10-12YO) – Saturday Jan. 25^th*

*Players will be grouped into a 1-hour time slots based on final player count.
If you are unsure what league you are in, please look at your registration confirmation email or by the above ages (age as of 4/30/20).

• Mon. Jan. 20^th: SSYS Instructional clinic offered to 7-12YO’s*
•  Sat. Feb. 1^st : Rookie & International League (4-6YO’s) Carnival/Kick-off event. Afternoon of Feb. 1^st with additional details will be sent by mid late January
• Jan. 29 – Feb. 3: Practices begin (timing differs by league)
• Sun. Feb. 9^th: North Springs High School/SSYS Instructional Clinic 1-4pm for 1^st-8^th grade*
• Sat. Feb. 15^th: Family park workday. This is a great morning out, and a great chance for kids to get service hours.  So if your child needs the hours, make sure they bring their paperwork.
• Feb. 29^th: Regular season games begin

• Sat. March 7^th: Opening Ceremony where teams parade onto Field 1.
• Sat. May 2^nd: Family Night and 50^th Anniversary Celebration. Family-friendly evening event with inflatables, home run derby and lots of other fun.
• Sat. May 16^th: Closing Ceremony
