Bigler YCMA Indoor Youth Soccer League

1. Season will begin on Saturday, December 2, 2023, and run until March 2, 2024.  Games will be played on Saturdays.  There will be no games on December 23, 2023.  The schedule will be determined once the total number of teams is finalized.  Registration fee is $190/team for a 14 match season, players will have a $4 game fee with a season pass at $40. Adult spectators other than one coach will be charged a $3 fee upon entry each week.  There will also be a season spectator pass available for $30 per person.  Clearfield YMCA Members will have a player and spectator fee of $1.00.  DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS NOVEMBER 24, 2023.  Checks should be made payable to the Bigler YMCA.
2. Two separate divisions will be formed for competition.  Younger division teams can be formed with any child that will be age 7,8, or 9 at any point during the season, which runs from December 2, 2023 through March 2, 2024.  The older division teams can be formed with any child age 10 and 11, and 12 only if that child is in 6th grade.  Children in 7th grade and beyond are eligible to play in the Bigler YMCA’s Junior High League.
3.  Teams can be co-ed, and must have a roster containing anywhere between 7 and 12 players.
4.  Teams are to have a designated adult as the head coach, who will coordinate line-up and substitutions.  Substitutions are permitted “on the fly” during play.  There are 5 players on the court at one time, four in the field and one goalie.
5.  Exact length of games will be determined after the total number of teams has been determined, but will most likely be two halves that last between 15 and 22 minutes, a halftime lasting between 2 to 4 minutes, and a warm-up period that will last anywhere between 12 and 20 minutes.  Coaches can use warm up time to provide instruction to their respective team.  
6.  The league will use the Bigler YMCA’s established rules for indoor soccer.  In particular, goalies can’t throw the ball past mid-court, and balls that hit the wall above a certain point are considered out of play.  All kicks are indirect.  In keeping with AYSO and PA West regulations, there will be no head balls.
7.  Shin guards must be worn at all times.  
8.  Team color will be assigned in order of registrations received and paid.  Please don’t order team shirts until your color has been confirmed.
9.  Clare Pannebaker will serve as the league’s referee and scheduler.  Please don’t enter a team unless your team plans to play each week.  In the event of an emergency, Clare can be reached at 814-553-8001.  All schedule changes due to weather or other unforeseen events will be announced through the YMCA’s Facebook page, and the Facebook page that will be created for our league prior to the start of the season.
