ASG Advanced Player Development Program
The Advanced Player Development (APD) Program is based on the concepts of the US Club Player Identification and Development Program.
A dynamic small group training program. Groups are limited to ten players per coach and are formed based on age and ability.
SUMMER 2022 SESSION INFORMATION
Sessions will run:
5:30-6:30 (Players born 2014-2010)
7:00-8:00 (Players born 2009-2004)
- Mondays: 13, 20, 27
- Wednesdays: 15, 22, 29
- Mondays: 18, 25
- Wednesdays: 20, 27
- Northside Community Center
June APD Prices:
- Mondays only (3 classes): $60
- Wednesdays only (3 classes): $60
*Plus a one time registration fee: $20*
Players currently on an ASG Competitive team will be exempt from the ADP registration fee.
Advanced Player Development Program Topics
Goalkeepers
Goalkeepers will work with the ASG Goalkeeper Coach Vilardo.
Fitness and Agility
Players will work on agility and fitness on and off the ball.
Dynamic Movements
With and without the ball.

Advanced Player Development Main Components
PHYSICAL
Speed and Agility training by our licensed professional trainers. Physical measurement testing Pre and Post test.
Technique
Foot work with the ball, receiving and movement to avoid pressure, correct body position (shape) in receiving. Moves to beat opponents 1v1.
Tactics
1V1 concept of TRANSITION from offense to defense, defense to offense (building blocks for tactical).
Psychological/Social
Building on success. Success created through correct skill repetition, goal setting, development of leadership traits leading to team development
