Centre Soccer’s Recreational Programs are for players who want to continue playing in a fun, local environment. Leagues play in State College and run from being Pick Up, Casual League Play to a Competitive League with our own State College Premier League. (SCPL)  You may play for multiple leagues during a season, but only on one team per league.

Adult Rec League

CSA's Adult Rec League is for players of an intermediate level who have some experience playing soccer. The Rec league is intended to be a relaxed atmosphere for players to have fun, get some exercise while playing soccer.  If you are unsure of your playing level, try our pickup program first. Experienced players are expected to adjust their level of play here so that all players feel welcomed and part of the game. Players can sign up as individuals and we will assign you to a team or get a team together to play with your friends and co-workers. This league plays outdoors in three separate league seasons, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Adult Pick Up

Adult Rec Pick Up is for beginning to experienced soccer players. Pick Up session is meant to complement the Adult Leagues (REC and SCPL) . Play is a pick up format depending on the # of players that show up to play. Feel free to divide into groups based on ability level. Pick up occurs on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings at locations in State College. Registration for pickup is included in our Annual Adult Player Membership- see registration information below. Register for Pick up to receive notifications. 2-3x per week program, outdoors. Indoor pickup is an additional charge when offered. Atmosphere is meant to be fun and experienced players should adjust level of play so all players feel welcome. For more information, click here.

State College Premier League

The main goal of the SCPL is to provide a competitive arena for players to enjoy the game of soccer.  This is a team-based league that plays in Spring and Fall. Common sense should play a major role in each player’s attitude towards officials, opponents, and their teammates.

Unlike other CSA Adult programing, individuals are not placed on teams automatically. Teams are pre-formed and then join the league. For more information, click here.

Adult 8v8 B League

CSA's Adult 8v8 B League is for players of an intermediate level to high level players. This is a competitive league but a step down from the Premier League. Players can sign up as individuals and we will assign you to a team or get a team together to play with your friends and co-workers. This league plays outdoors in  the Spring and Fall. For more information, click here.

Adult 11v11 League - Winter Scramble and Icebreaker

Our 11v11 leagues offer a change of pace for competitive and recreational adult players. The Winter Scramble is in November and December and the Icebreaker is in March.  For more information, click here.

Registration Information for Adult Programs:

IMPORTANT NOTES- PLEASE READ:


1.) All adults pay a $35 yearly membership ($15 for PSU Students, click here to get the discount code, non-PSU students, email a photo of your current student ID to [email protected].) The annual membership fee is automatically charged with your first registration of the year, and there is no action required on your part to complete the membership step.

2.) Registering for both Pick-up & Adult Rec League programs, all players must register as a FREE AGENT when prompted by the system! Rec Players- You can specify a team or play with a friend during registration, just type it in when asked if you want. Do not "start a new team" if asked by the system. If you are a Rec player interested in starting a team, email [email protected].

3.) For Premier League players already assigned to a team, you have a TEAM CODE given by your captain. The "team code" only applies to the Premier League.  If you have questions about registering for the Premier League, email [email protected].
